Printable Tic-Tac-Toe (Noughts & Crosses) Sheets

Free printable tic-tac-toe / noughts and crosses sheets at exact scale — a page full of boards for classrooms, road trips and rainy days.

Tic-tac-toe (noughts and crosses) is the two-minute game everyone knows, and having a page of ready-drawn boards means no more scribbling wonky grids. Pick how many boards fit across and down and print a whole sheet — perfect for a quick classroom filler, keeping kids busy on a journey, or a best-of-many tournament.

Choose the classic 3×3 grid or step up to 4×4 or 5×5 for a tougher game, and turn on a small score line under each board to tally X and O wins across the page.

Printing at exact scale

Every sheet is drawn in real millimetres and prints at exact physical scale. For accurate output, set Scale = 100% (Actual size) and Margins = None in your browser's print dialog. Not sure your printer is honest? Run the printer ruler test first to confirm 50 mm really measures 50 mm.

Frequently asked questions

How many boards can I fit on a page?

As many as you like — set the boards across and down (for example 3×4 = twelve boards on one sheet).

Can I make a harder version?

Yes — switch to a 4×4 or 5×5 grid for a more strategic game than the classic 3×3.

What's the score line for?

A little ‘X ___ O ___’ tally under each board so you can keep a running total over many quick games.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every template on printsheet.io is completely free, with no sign-up, no account and no watermark. Generate as many sheets as you like.

How do I get an exact-scale print?

Choose your paper size, then in the print dialog set Scale to 100% or “Actual size” and Margins to None. The sheet is defined in real millimetres, so it prints at true size. Use the calibration ruler page to verify.

Which paper sizes are supported?

A4, A5, A3, A6, US Letter, Legal and Tabloid, in portrait or landscape. Pick the size that matches the paper loaded in your printer.

Can I save it as a PDF instead of printing?

Yes — choose “Save as PDF” as the printer in your browser's print dialog. The PDF keeps the exact millimetre dimensions.
