Free QR Code Generator
Make a QR code for a website, Wi-Fi network, contact card and more — pick your colours, drop your own logo in the middle, then download it as a sharp SVG or PNG, or print it at an exact physical size. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Choose what the code should do — open a URL, show plain text, join a Wi-Fi network, start an email, phone call or SMS, share a contact card (vCard), or drop a pin on a map location — fill in the fields and the QR code updates live as you type. When it looks right, download a vector SVG (perfect at any size), a PNG image, or print it on paper at the exact millimetre size you set.
Add your own logo: upload an image and it drops into the centre of the code. QR codes have built-in error correction, so a modest logo doesn't stop them scanning — this tool automatically raises the error-correction level to H (30%) whenever a logo is present so the code stays reliable. Keep the logo small and test-scan the finished code before printing a batch.
Set any foreground and background colour (or make the background transparent for stickers and overlays), and choose square, rounded or dot-shaped modules for a softer look. Keep strong contrast — dark code on a light background scans best — and leave the quiet zone (the white border) at four modules or more, which most scanners need to lock on.
Printing at exact scale
Every sheet is drawn in real millimetres and prints at exact physical scale. For accurate output, set Scale = 100% (Actual size) and Margins = None in your browser's print dialog. Not sure your printer is honest? Run the printer ruler test first to confirm 50 mm really measures 50 mm.
Frequently asked questions
Are these QR codes free and permanent?
Yes. The codes are static — the data is encoded directly into the pattern, so they never expire, have no scan limits, need no account, and don't route through any tracking server. Once you download or print one it works forever.
Can I add a logo in the middle?
Yes — upload any image and it's placed in the centre. The tool raises the error-correction level automatically so the code still scans. Keep the logo small and always test-scan before printing lots of copies.
Can I make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Yes — choose the Wi-Fi type, enter your network name, password and security (WPA/WEP/open), and anyone who scans it joins your network without typing the password. Works with the built-in camera on most modern phones.
What's the difference between the error-correction levels?
They set how much of the code can be obscured or damaged and still scan: L≈7%, M≈15%, Q≈25%, H≈30%. Higher levels add more dots (a denser code) but survive scratches, smudges and centre logos better.
SVG or PNG — which should I download?
SVG is a vector and stays razor-sharp at any size, ideal for print and signage. PNG is a plain image handy for the web, chat and documents. Both are generated entirely in your browser.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The code and any logo are generated locally in your browser — nothing you type and no image you add is ever sent to a server or stored between visits.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every template on printsheet.io is completely free, with no sign-up, no account and no watermark. Generate as many sheets as you like.
How do I get an exact-scale print?
Choose your paper size, then in the print dialog set Scale to 100% or “Actual size” and Margins to None. The sheet is defined in real millimetres, so it prints at true size. Use the calibration ruler page to verify.
Which paper sizes are supported?
A4, A5, A3, A6, US Letter, Legal and Tabloid, in portrait or landscape. Pick the size that matches the paper loaded in your printer.
Can I save it as a PDF instead of printing?
Yes — choose “Save as PDF” as the printer in your browser's print dialog. The PDF keeps the exact millimetre dimensions.
