The waxing phases (growing, lit on the right in the Northern Hemisphere) and waning phases (shrinking, lit on the left) are shown correctly, and a hemisphere switch mirrors the illuminated side for Southern Hemisphere viewers. Is the lit side correct for my hemisphere?
Yes — the default is the Northern Hemisphere (waxing lit on the right). Switch to Southern Hemisphere to mirror the illuminated side.
How many phases are shown?
The eight principal phases: new, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full, waning gibbous, last quarter and waning crescent.
What's the difference between waxing and waning?
Waxing means the lit portion is growing towards full; waning means it's shrinking towards new. In the Northern Hemisphere waxing is lit on the right, waning on the left.

How do I get an exact-scale print?
