This telling-the-time worksheet prints a grid of analog clock faces with hour numerals and optional minute ticks and minute numbers. In blank mode each clock shows a target time underneath and the child draws the hands; in read mode the clock shows a random time and they write the digital time in the box; the combined mode pairs a set clock with a blank one to copy across.
Control the difficulty — o’clock only, half past, quarter hours, five-minute intervals or any minute — the number of clocks per page, and whether to print an answer key. Shuffle for a fresh set of times. Clocks print at a consistent exact physical size on A4, Letter or any size.
Printing at exact scale
Every sheet is drawn in real millimetres and prints at exact physical scale. For accurate output, set Scale = 100% (Actual size) and Margins = None in your browser's print dialog. Not sure your printer is honest? Run the printer ruler test first to confirm 50 mm really measures 50 mm.
